## Heating Service

A heating system that runs well keeps your home warm and your bills sensible. I carry out fault-finding, maintenance and optimisation on heating systems and radiators across Munich, so your heating works the way it should.

Typical work includes removing old radiators and installing new ones, balancing the system for even heat, fitting and connecting manifolds, and setting up underfloor heating loops during a renovation.

Please note: I do not carry out work on gas installations. My heating work covers the wet side of the system, radiators, pipework, manifolds and controls, leaving any gas appliance work to a registered gas engineer.

Whether a single radiator needs replacing or a whole system needs tidying up and balancing, the work is done cleanly and explained clearly so you understand what was changed and why.

**Carried out with a certified SHK partner**

Heating work is a licensable trade in Germany. These services are carried out in collaboration with a certified SHK partner (a qualified Anlagenmechaniker for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning), so everything is done correctly and to code.

### Heating Questions

How quickly can you offer an appointment?

Usually within a few days, and faster for genuine emergencies. The best way to get a quick answer is to call or send a WhatsApp message with a short description and a photo of the job, and I will come back to you with the next available slot.

Do you work at weekends?

Yes, Saturday work is possible by arrangement, and I respond to genuine emergencies outside normal hours. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, with Sundays reserved for emergencies.

What areas do you cover?

I work across Munich and the surrounding areas, including Schwabing, Bogenhausen, Haidhausen, Sendling, Pasing, Trudering, Grünwald, Garching and Ismaning. If you are unsure whether your location is covered, just ask.

Are you qualified and registered?

Yes. The business is a registered trade in Munich with over ten years of hands-on experience. For licensable sanitary and heating work I work with a certified SHK partner (a qualified Anlagenmechaniker SHK), so that work is carried out correctly and to code.

Do you give a warranty on your work?

Yes, of course, within the statutory warranty. I stand behind the quality of my workmanship and want every job to last, which is why the work is done properly the first time.

How do I get a quote?

Call or message me on WhatsApp with a description of the job and a few photos, or use the contact page. For larger work such as a full bathroom, a free site visit lets me give you an accurate quote.

Do you carry out complete bathroom renovations?

Yes, from planning right through to the finished room. I handle the full project from one hand: stripping out, new pipework, waterproofing, tiling, fixtures and the final fit-out, so you have a single point of contact throughout.

Can you help with planning the bathroom?

Yes. I am happy to advise before the work starts on layout, materials and the sequence of trades. Because I carry out the work myself, the advice is practical and grounded in what actually builds well.

Do you build level-access walk-in showers?

Yes, level-access walk-in showers are a large part of my bathroom work. Proper tanking and a correctly set linear drain keep the wet area dry, and the result is a modern, easy-to-use shower.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

It depends on the size and scope, but a typical full bathroom usually takes a couple of weeks from strip-out to finish. I give you a realistic timeline as part of the quote so you can plan around the work.

Do you work with my materials or supply them?

Both are possible. I am happy to supply quality materials and fixtures or to fit items you have already chosen. We agree this up front so the quote is clear.

Do you work on gas installations?

No. I do not carry out any work on gas installations. My heating work covers the wet side of the system: radiators, pipework, manifolds, underfloor heating and controls. Any gas appliance work is left to a registered gas engineer.

Can you replace old radiators?

Yes. Removing old radiators and installing new ones is a regular job. I can also balance the system afterwards for more even heat and a cleaner finish.

Do you install underfloor heating?

Yes, I lay and connect underfloor heating loops and manifolds, typically as part of a renovation or interior fit-out where the floor is already being worked on.

Can you find and fix a heating fault?

Yes. I carry out fault-finding, maintenance and optimisation on heating systems. I trace the actual cause, explain what needs doing, and put it right cleanly, within the limits of non-gas work.

Do you fit washbasins, WCs and taps?

Yes, that is core sanitary work: washbasins, WCs with concealed cisterns, taps, mixers and complete bathroom fixtures, all installed cleanly and pressure-tested.

Which brands do you work with?

I work with quality components from trusted brands such as Geberit, Grohe and Hansgrohe. If you have a preference, let me know, and I can supply the materials or fit parts you have already bought.

Can you fix a leak quickly?

Yes. Leaks are exactly the kind of job I respond to quickly. I trace the source, repair it properly, and make sure it does not lead to follow-on damage.
