# Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

## 1\. Who We Are

Remus Bumb is a sanitary, heating and renovation business based in Munich, Germany, and is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact: [info@remus-dienstleistungen.de](mailto:info@remus-dienstleistungen.de) or [+49 15510 75 57 76](tel:+4915510755776).

## 2\. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or through our online enquiry form. This may include your name, email address, phone number, address or postcode, and details about your project. We also collect basic technical data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location) through standard web server logs.

## 3\. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

* Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes
* Arrange and confirm appointments
* Provide support after the work is completed

We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not sell or pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.

## 4\. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your information on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), to respond to your enquiry, and, where you place an order, to fulfil a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Optional cookies are set on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 TTDSG/DDG).

## 5\. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep enquiry records for up to 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep relevant records in line with statutory retention periods. You can ask us to delete your information at any time where there is no legal obligation to retain it.

## 6\. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [info@remus-dienstleistungen.de](mailto:info@remus-dienstleistungen.de).

## 7\. Online Enquiry Form

When you submit our online enquiry form, the information you enter is sent over a secure connection to our own database, held in our leads system on the Cloudflare platform (Cloudflare D1), so we can handle your enquiry. By submitting, you consent to us storing this information and using it only to contact you about your enquiry and to prepare and send you a suitable, no-obligation quote based on what you tell us. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing. To prevent spam and abuse we also record technical details, such as browser information and a shortened, hashed IP address. Submitting requires your explicit consent (a confirmation checkbox). We keep your enquiry as described in section 5, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

## 8\. Cookies and Analytics

On your first visit we ask for your consent through a cookie banner. Necessary cookies are always active and store, among other things, your cookie choice. Optional categories load only after you consent: preferences (e.g. the embedded Google Map) and analytics (e.g. Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, when enabled). As proof of your decision we log the consent itself, without storing your IP address. See our [Cookie Policy](/en/cookies/) for details; you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” tab on the left edge of the screen.

## 9\. Third-Party Services and Processors

To run the website we use carefully selected providers: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the website, and storage of your form enquiries in our own database, Cloudflare D1) and Google Maps for the map (only after consent). When enabled, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics (only after consent). These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

## 10\. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.

## 11\. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, you can contact the competent supervisory authority: the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
