Heating & Radiator Upgrade

The Brief

A Munich property had tired old radiators and a plant room that had grown messy over the years, with uneven heat across the rooms. The owners wanted the radiators replaced and the heating tidied up so the home heats evenly again, all without any work on the gas appliance itself.

What We Did

The work included:

• Removed the old radiators: The dated radiators were drained, disconnected and removed cleanly.
• Installed new radiators: Modern radiators were fitted and connected, sized to suit each room.
• Tidied the plant room: Pipework, manifolds and pump groups were reorganised into a clean, logical layout that is easy to service.
• Balanced the system: The system was balanced so heat is distributed evenly rather than racing to the nearest radiators.
• Tested everything: The whole system was refilled, checked for leaks and tested under heat before handover. No work was carried out on the gas installation.

The Result

The rooms now heat far more evenly, the plant room is clean and easy to work on, and the whole system runs more efficiently. A tidy, well-organised heating setup that will be straightforward to maintain in future.

Note: All work was on the wet side of the heating system. Gas appliance work is left to a registered gas engineer.
